Our Love Story
From Way:
On January 12th 2023 while on a family vacation I came across a familiar face I had not seen in years, on social media. Kii, Max's brother, had posted him for his birthday. I was so shocked at how long it had been since I last saw him and sent him a birthday message.
To my surprise, I received a message back from Max thanking me and asking if I would be interested in meeting for a coffee or dinner on my return. I responded "Okie dokie".
A week later Max and I planned to go on our first date for dinner at Mad Hatters. We ordered three courses and were only able to enjoy one as we both were fully engaged in the conversation and I got lost in his eyes! I think its safe to say we both got lost in each others beauty as it was 12:45am and it was just us and the wait staff, ready to go home.
We left dinner and carried the date to Spittal Pond parking lot where we sat and talked until 5am. At that point we both had our furry kids to get home to.
From Max:
On Saturday morning, bright and early I sent "Good Morning" to Way and inquired if she had any plans that day as I wanted to take her on a picnic! We made plans to meet that afternoon but the weather had other arrangements. Instead Way invited me over to watch Supercross together, but we ended up talking the whole night! Every moment spent together was filled with laughter, joy and an undeniable attraction!
The following day, I stuck to my plans and we went on a picnic, food again was wasted as I took the opportunity to express the many years I've secretly had a crush on her. I wasted no time in making sure she was going to be mine for the rest of my life. Monday, Way asked me to bring my furry child over! At that moment, I knew not only had I found my life partner, but my soulmate.
Our weekend was filled with smiles, tender moments and a deep connection that went beyond words! This was a beautiful reminder that the universe brings the right person into your life at the right moment.
As we walk hand in hand beginning this life-long journey together, I am constantly grateful for the love, kindness, and endless adventures we will share together.
